We are kicking off our 30-day initiative today, on November 13th, for World Kindness Day and we are inviting you to grow kindness along with us and to share those acts of kindness so that we can build a more compassionate world.

PCSD would like to spotlight Tate Elementary’s Taylor Wigington. Taylor had been teaching Special Education in Cherokee County for the past several years and she decided to move her career closer to home. Tate Elementary could not be happier to have her!

For the month of October, Campus Law Enforcement Officer Poulos has chosen Anna Birdseye as the Campus Law Enforcement Student of the Month. Anna was nominated by Mrs. Wilkie who says Anna is thriving here at school this year. She has become so responsible while in the breakfast and lunch line. Deputy Poulos has witnessed Anna’s kindness toward her peers and believes she is very deserving of this award. Anna is determined to make a difference. Congratulations Anna!
