Doubly Delightful!
Today’s Teacher Appreciation treats started with a delicious breakfast of biscuits and fruit — and just when we thought it couldn’t get sweeter, an ice cream truck rolled up in the afternoon with frozen delights for all!
Thank you for showering our wonderful faculty and staff with appreciation, smiles, and sweet surprises. We are grateful!

These fabulous students in Mrs. Davis' 1st and 2nd grade ELA classes rocked their spring benchmark assessments — many even raised their scores by a full level or more! To celebrate their hard work and growth, they earned a special trip to the Book Vending Machine! Way to go!

Congratulations, Shelia Elrod!
We’re thrilled to announce that Shelia has been named Hill City’s Paraprofessional of the Year!
Working side by side with Mrs. Abbott, our school's Teacher of the Year, this dynamic duo has made an incredible impact—helping our kindergartners grow, thrive, and get ready for first grade.
Thank you, Ms. Shelia, for setting high yet achievable goals, and for loving our littlest learners so well. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor!

We are celebrating Maverick! This kindergartner in Ms. Jenkins' class has mastered his sight words and visited the Book Vending Machine to celebrate. Congratulations, Maverick, and keep up the great work!

Testing Celebs!
With the exception of a few students that need to make up a test due to an absense, the Georgia Milestones Assessment wrapped up today, and we are so proud of our 3rd and 4th graders! They showed grit, focus, and determination—using their strategies, scratch paper, and online tools like true testing pros. Way to go, rock stars!

Oh, what a night! We’re still glowing from Friday’s Fine Arts Night! The halls were filled with a stunning gallery of student artwork and poetry, and it was wonderful to see so many families and friends admiring every creative piece. Of course, the incredible musical performance of our Harmonious Hill City Hawks in the gym topped off the evening.
We’re so proud of our talented students and grateful to our community for celebrating the arts with us. It was truly a gem of a night! #FineArtsNIght

Our 3rd and 4th graders had a blast cheering each other on as they threw pies at Deputy Roach, Ms. Delane, Mrs. Lane, Mrs. Patterson, and Dr. Kretschmar!
This sweet reward was earned after two focused days of Georgia Milestones testing for math. We’re so proud of their hard work — and we can't wait to see what fun is in store after three days of ELA testing!
