Pickens High School is proud to host the full Region 6-AAA basketball tournament this year! Games will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday of this week.
This is a region tournament and all guidelines must be the same for all teams. Therefore local passes and Dragon Passes cannot be used.
Tickets are $10 per day, and we will accept cash or GoFan at the gate. The tournament brackets are attached for your reference.
This is a great opportunity for PHS—it has been 25 years since we last hosted the semifinals and finals of the region tournament. Let’s pack the gym and show our Region 6-AAA opponents what a true Pickens home-court advantage looks like!

If you are ready and able to get out and about, we still have some athletic events this week starting with a region bball match up at Dawson tomorrow and PJHS swimming in Calhoun.
Due to expected weather conditions, Pickens County Schools and the District Office will be closed on Friday, January 10th. All extra-curricular activities are also canceled both Friday, January 10th and Saturday, January 11th.
