Welcome to Mrs. Poag's Class

This is my third year teaching at Tate Elementary! I was born and raised here in Pickens County. I married my high school sweetheart, we were blessed with twin daughters, Hattie and Brinlee, and a precious son, Jensen! My girls attend 3rd grade here at Tate! My hobbies are my children, both at home and at school! 

I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2011. I taught at Pickens County Head Start for eight years and enjoyed every year.  I decided to apply for the school system when my girls finished pre-k and here we are! I am loving everything about Tate Elementary! 

I love what I do! GO BULLDOGS!
