Principal Stephanie Hall
My name is Stephanie Hall, and I am honored to be your child’s Principal at Tate Elementary School! I am proud to say that I am a product of the Pickens County school system. I graduated from Pickens High School in 1988 and then attended North Georgia College where I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Elementary Education. In the year 2000, I earned my Specialist’s Degree in Leadership and Curriculum from Lincoln Memorial University. I began my teaching career at Tate Elementary in 1992, where I taught for 14 years. In 2006, I transferred to Jasper Elementary School to become the Academic Coach, where I spent 10 years providing professional support for our JES teachers. I had the honor of serving Jasper Elementary School as Assistant Principal for the 2016-2017 school year. For this school year, I will have the honor of being the principal at Tate Elementary School. I am extremely excited to work with the students, parents, and staff of Tate Elementary in my new role as Principal.
My husband and I have four children. Our oldest will be a senior this year at Pickens High School and is currently enjoying being a part of the Pickens County Marching Band. Our son attends PHS and will be in the 10th grade. We also have a 6th grader who will be attending JMS. Our youngest just turned six, and she attends Tate Elementary.
My goal for the Tate Elementary School is simple. I want every child that enters our building to feel loved, safe, accepted, successful, and prepared for the next level. I’m hopeful that our families will feel welcome, respected, and will become our partner in their child’s education. Lastly, I want our staff to feel highly valued and respected by all stakeholders as they persistently work to ensure the success of every child at Tate Elementary. The mission of Tate Elementary School is Teaching All To achieve Excellence(TATE).
